Four steps to book a booth space.
As one of the leading tourism events in the world, Tourism EXPO Japan offers an occasion for the travel industry and various industry stakeholders to come together around the focal point of tourism and promote overseas, domestic and inbound travel, revitalization of the regions, and the growth and development of the participating organizations. In order to do this, it provides opportunities for discussion and sharing expertise, a venue for exhibitions and business talks, promotions for consumers and test marketing and much more, aiming to develop tourism as a peace industry and excluding any religious, ideological, racial or otherwise political statements.
This agreement applies to the contract that has been concluded between the Japan Travel and Tourism Association, the Japan Association of Travel Agents (hereinafter referred to as the “Exhibition organizers”) and those wishing to exhibit at the Tourism EXPO Japan (hereinafter referred to as the “Applicant”).
If the Exhibitor wishes to cancel this agreement, they shall send a cancellation notice in writing including  the Exhibitor's name,  the signature or, alternatively, the name and seal of the Exhibitor's representative,  the representative's name and contact details,  the date and time of the cancellation request and  the reason for the cancellation. The agreement may be canceled upon the arrival of the aforementioned cancellation notice with the Exhibition organizers. The cancellation fee (excluding consumption tax) will be charged as follows, depending on cancellation date. Conditions (2) and (3) below will apply to the cancellation of storage room rentals.
*The conditions of this Article shall be complied with regardless of the booth size and shape even if the Organizer is selling booths in accordance with a special plan proposal to entice exhibitors.
※ After the booth allocations are announced (scheduled for the exhibitor information session), the Exhibition organizers cannot accept any request from the Exhibitor for a change of booth location. However, changes to the booths may be made after the announcement due to venue circumstances, etc.
Tourism EXPO Japan prescribes the following Registration Terms and Conditions regarding the “Tourism EXPO Japan System” (hereafter referred to as “the System”) internet service provided by Tourism EXPO Japan for the users of the System (hereafter referred to as “the Registrant”).
Various rules and regulations announced online via the Internet or other methods provided by Tourism EXPO Japan at any time constitute a part of these Terms and Conditions, and Registrant shall agree to them. Tourism EXPO Japan may also change the rules and regulations without consent of the Registrant and Registrant shall agree to it. The changes will be announced when they occur to the Registrant through the System or other methods provided by Tourism EXPO Japan.
The Registrant is defined as an applicant who agreed to the Terms and Conditions and is requested to use the system based on the following procedure specified by Tourism EXPO Japan and the applicant is approved by Tourism EXPO Japan.

The Registrant may not allow third parties to use, sell, change the name, or pawn the ID and the password provided by Tourism EXPO Japan (including tentative password, the same shall apply hereinafter).
The Registrant shall be responsible for safeguarding and using the ID and the password provided under the Terms and Conditions and shall not subject Tourism EXPO Japan to damages.
The Registrant shall take entire responsibility in using the System with the corresponding ID and password, and shall be liable for the entire financial obligation associated with use of the System.
The Registrant shall immediately update his or her information registered in the System when there is any change in address, contact information, or other related information.
The Registrant shall provide at his or her own expense all communication equipment and other devices required to use the System. Additionally, the devices the Registrant provides at his or her own expense shall be connected to Tourism EXPO Japan’s center via a telecommunication service. Any costs associated with the procedure for connecting to said telecommunication service shall be borne by the Registrant.
Tourism EXPO Japan may change the contents of the conditions, operational rules, and other system contents without prior notice to the Registrant and the Registrant shall agree to it. Additionally, Tourism EXPO Japan may suspend the System without prior notice. Information regarding such changes or suspensions will be announced via the System or other means provided by Tourism EXPO Japan.
Tourism EXPO Japan may suspend the service without notifying the Registrant in the following cases.
The contents of the System will be the information that Tourism EXPO Japan can provide at the current time.
Tourism EXPO Japan does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, applicability or availability of provided information or text and other information registered by the Registrant.
Tourism EXPO Japan shall not be liable for any damages suffered by the Registrant or third parties resulting from delay or suspension of the System for any reason.
Tourism EXPO Japan shall not be responsible nor have any compensatory obligation for any damages suffered by the Registrant as a result of using the System.
If the Registrant causes any damages to third parties as a result of using the System, the Registrant shall resolve the problem at his or her own expense and responsibility and shall not damage Tourism EXPO Japan.
If the Registrant damages Tourism EXPO Japan as a result of any violation of the Terms and Conditions, JATA Tourism EXPO Japan shall reserve the right to demand appropriate compensation for the damages from the Registrant.
If the information or the text, etc., entered by the Registrant into the System exceeds the time period or amount specified by Tourism EXPO Japan, said information or text, etc., may be deleted without prior notice to the Registrant. Further, the information or the text, etc., entered by the Registrant into the System may be deleted without prior notice to the Registrant for reasons related to System operation or maintenance.
Tourism EXPO Japan may set or limit the scope of provision of the System for each Registrant based on the judgment of Tourism EXPO Japan.
Tourism EXPO Japan shall reserve the right to suspend or revoke the Registrant’s qualification without prior notice or warning if any of the following applies to the Registrant. In such case, any payment made to Tourism EXPO Japan prior to the decision will not be reimbursed.
The personal information of participating Registrants will be mutually shared with participating Registrants for the purpose of facilitating commercial discussions.
The Registrant’s qualification will be valid until the end of the year in which his or her application was approved.
Any dispute arising over the System between the Registrant and Tourism EXPO Japan shall be discussed in good faith by parties. If no resolution is reached after the discussion, the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall be the court with exclusive jurisdiction.
To keep the collected personal information accurate and up to date and to prevent the unauthorized access to, and loss, destructions, tampering, and leakage, etc., of personal information, the organizers will assign management resources that match the operational circumstances for implementing rationally safe measures and for improving the continuity of the personal information security system. In addition, corrective measures will be taken quickly in the event a problem occurs.
The organizers will comply with the laws, ordinances, and guidelines pertaining to personal information. Further, the provisions of the organizers shall comply with these laws, ordinances, and other provisions to handle the personal information as prescribed.

In the course of operations, the organizers may outsource part of the operations to improve the service provided to the customers. Thus, personal information may be entrusted to the contractor. In this case, a contractor that is recognized as being able to properly handle the personal information will be selected and bound by agreement, etc., to suitably manage, maintain confidentiality, and otherwise handle the personal information to properly manage and determine appropriate measures for preventing leakage of the customers’ personal information.
In the event the organizers receive from the customer or the customer’s representative a request to disclose, correct, add to, delete, cease use, remove, or cease disclosure to a third party of the customer’s personal information received from the customer, the request shall be dealt with under adequate and reasonable circumstances. However, this does not apply if there is deemed to be a risk to the life, health, property, or other benefits of another customer, or a marked interference in the execution of the operations of the organizing associations.
